Kevin Stewart-Magee - Exhibition at 1821 Gallery, Fresno, California
Please join me at 1821 Gallery for an exhibition of paintings and drawings. The gallery is located at 1821 Calaveras St. in downtown Fresno. The gallery is open Wednesday - Friday from 11 to 5, Saturday 12 to 4 and by appointment. The show will run through March. www.1821gallery.com
This work is about time, history and memory; forces and influences that are as invisible as the wind, seen best in their effect. None of these objects or places were new, working or occupied, at the time they were painted. For a moment they were quiet performances of light and shadow.
Thanks to our great FCC Art Department and FPCA Division, Neil, Lisa, Kelley , my colleagues Nick, Susana, Tim, Laura, Ricardo, Caleb, Leslie, Susan and Peter, Fresno artists and friends, Nick, Stephanie, Neil and everyone at Corridor. Special thanks to Carolyn, Tommy and the folks at Allard's for their hard work putting the show together. To Bruce and Bebi at 1821. And Gail for everything.
